The Process

From Raw Earth
to Finished Art

Wedging & Preparation

Each piece begins with carefully selected stoneware clay, wedged to remove air bubbles and achieve uniform consistency — the foundation of every great work.

Throwing & Shaping

On the wheel, the clay takes form under skilled hands. From delicate teacups to substantial vessels, each piece is centered, pulled, and shaped with intention.

Drying & Trimming

Once leather-hard, each piece is carefully trimmed and refined. Handles, feet, and decorative elements are added with the precision that only experience provides.

Glazing & Firing

Our custom glazes are applied, then the pieces undergo multiple firings — bisque at cone 04, glaze at cone 6. Each firing transforms the surface, revealing colors and textures unique to that moment in the kiln.

Inspection & Completion

Every finished piece is individually inspected for quality and integrity. Only work that meets our standards leaves the studio — each one signed and dated by the maker.
